It’s not just the engine silly!

Modern engine swaps are a great way to make your classic car more powerful, reliable and efficient - but along with the engine itself, we also need to modernize the transmission, fuel system, cooling system, exhaust and more. These parts add up and often surprise a customer before they even pull the trigger on a swap.

Oddball swaps - Count us in!

Swapping from an inline 6 to a V8? No problemo! Swapping from an old 4 cylinder to a modern v8 or inline turbo 4? We got you. Our team is not only well versed in the mechanical end - but we have on staff fabricators who can make brackets, exhaust pipes, crossmembers, etc… oddball swaps are what excites us.

Can you work with old school power plants?

Totally! Flatheads are still cool… and who doesn’t like a big block with a multi-carb setup and a blower sticking out of the hood. We’ve seen it all and can handle it all.

What's the cost?

Each job will be estimated individually, but here are some guidelines to help you budget

Engine swaps are tough to give a “rough” estimate on as the price of parts can vary wildly. Many LS swaps are an easy bolt in.

You can expect to pay around:

$1,100 - $1,855

for the parts

$2,100 - $2,655

for installation and calibration

Q
I have a used engine my buddy gave me - can you install it?
A

We can - but be aware that you are paying for labor - and used parts can have issues.

Q
I want to buy a crate engine online and have it shipped to you. Can I do that?
A

We would rather spec, and purchase the parts for you. We buy in volume wholesale and can meet or beat most online pricing - and make sure you get the right stuff.

Q
Can you guys re-build my engine for me?
A

We don’t do engine machine work in house - but we do work with several reputable shops to do this work. We either have the machine shop assemble the engine - or in some cases we do the assembly in house.
